As part of the Brisbane based, privately owned BMI Group, we bring over 30 years of experience operating multi-site facilities with a strong focus on sustainability and operational excellence.Position: Maintenance SupervisorAbout the RoleWe have two positions available for motivated Maintenance Supervisors to take ownership of maintenance operations at our Stapylton, and Ipswich sites.In these roles, you will play a critical part in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently, leading a dedicated team to drive safety, reliability, and performance across a busy, high-volume recycling facility.
You will oversee the maintenance of plant and equipment, minimise downtime, and champion continuous improvement across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance techniciansAllocate daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure efficiency and quality outcomesProvide coaching, training, and performance feedbackMaintenance & OperationsComplete breakdown maintenance during operations as requiredOversee planned and reactive maintenance activitiesTroubleshoot complex equipment and plant issuesEnsure plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standardDrive preventative maintenance strategies to reduce downtimeSafety & CompliancePromote and enforce a robust safety culture aligned with WHS standardsConduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and auditsPlanning, Budget & ResourcesManage maintenance budgets and cost controlCoordinate procurement of parts, materials,
