About the RoleOur client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Brisbane's western suburbs, is seeking a Validation Officer to support their Quality Assurance team on a casual contract through to the end of ****.This role will play a key part in supporting equipment and system validation activities across the site.
Working closely with QA, laboratory teams, engineering and external vendors, you will assist with the qualification of new equipment, coordination of validation activities, and execution of validation protocols to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a pharmaceutical QA, QC or validation background looking to further develop their experience within validation and quality systems.Please note: The site is not accessible via public transport; therefore, reliable private transport is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate validation activities for recent equipment and system implementation projectsLiaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage installation schedules and validation timelinesExecute and document Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activitiesSupport Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for new and existing laboratory systemsPrepare, review, and maintain validation protocols, reports, and associated documentationAssist with equipment and system assessments, upgrades,



and lifecycle management activitiesSupport implementation of new laboratory equipment and technologiesEnsure all validation activities are performed in accordance with GMP requirements and company proceduresAssist with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls where requiredMaintain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready documentationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory and validation processesSkills & ExperienceA degree in Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Science, or a related disciplinePrevious experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other GMP-regulated environmentExperience working in a QC laboratory, QA, validation, laboratory support, or technical roleExposure to equipment qualification and validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ executionUnderstanding of GMP requirements and Good Documentation PracticesExposure to Computer System Validation (CSV) or laboratory computerised systems would be highly regardedExperience with laboratory instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, or troubleshooting would be advantageousStrong written documentation and technical reporting skillsExcellent organisational and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
