About the Role
We're looking for an organised, proactive Sales Support Co-ordinator to join our growing team.
This role is central to keeping our sales operation running smoothly, managing order processing and proactively servicing customers.
You'll report to the Sales Manager and will be the reliable link between our customers, warehouse, and sales team, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time, and that customers receive top-level service.
Key Responsibilities
Contact existing customers and create recent leads through outbound calls and emails
Prepare sales reports, PODs and customer account summaries for the Sales Manager
Coordinate samples and product information for customers
Support the Sales Manager with diary coordination and account prioritisation ahead of on-the-road visits
Assist with CRM data accuracy, keeping customer records, contact details, and order history up to date
Provide general administrative support to the sales function as needed
Conduct regular proactive check-in calls with existing customers to take orders, flag new products, and identify opportunities
Build rapport with customers over the phone to maintain strong relationships between in-person visits




Identify and pass qualified leads to the Sales Manager
Follow up on quotes, samples, and outstanding queries
Help re-engage lapsed or infrequent customers
Order Processing
Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently across phone, email, and order platforms in use
Liaise with the warehouse and logistics team to confirm stock availability and delivery timeframes
Follow up on order discrepancies, backorders, and delivery issues
Maintain accurate records in our CRM and order management systems
Manage pricing accuracy and ensure order confirmations are sent promptly

About You
Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, order processing, or telesales role (food/FMCG/wholesale industry highly regarded but not essential)
Confident and friendly on the phone, with a genuine interest in building customer relationships
Highly organised with strong attention to detail, comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities at once
Comfortable working with CRM and order management systems (training provided)
A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of the order process end-to-end
Good written and verbal communication
Team player who's happy working closely with a growing team
Experience with AI or willingness to learn
