HeavyDiesel Fitter – Mining Equipment (Workshop or Field) – Berrinba
Join a well-established and growing supplier of construction equipment parts across the mining sector.
With a strong network and decades of industry experience, this business specialises in delivering high-quality new, remanufactured, and used parts for leading OEM brands.
Working across a well-equipped facility and/or in the field, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairing a range of construction machinery being used within the mining industry.
What's on Offer
$45/hr – Workshop
$50/hr +ute – Field Service
Overtime available + penalties
Monday – Friday, 7:30am-16:00pm
Berrinba, Brisbane based
Permanent, full-time employment
Brand new, contemporary facility with new gear
Variety of work across multiple equipment types and brands
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance on the growing fleet of heavy vehicle machinery
Independently perform major repairs and overhauls on civil equipment




Service and maintain machinery including:
Excavators (Hyundai and other OEMs)
Dozers
Graders
Water carts
Rollers (Ammann, etc.)
Work on a variety of OEM equipment including Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Kobelco, Sandvik, and more
Complete either workshop-based or field service work on machinery
Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency
Equipment working on
Civil and construction machinery only
Fleet includes machines such as:
Excavators
Dozers
Water carts
Terex equipment (~40T range)
Equipment between ******* tonnes
Requirements
Trade qualified Fitter / Heavy Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic
Experience working on civil/construction machinery
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently in both workshop or field environments
