In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems across commercial, industrial and mining projects.You will work from design drawings and technical specifications to install fire detection systems, cabling and associated equipment, ensuring all systems are delivered in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.Working closely with project managers, site supervisors and clients, you will contribute to delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
You will also support fault finding, commissioning, compliance documentation and project handover processes.The role is a Monday to Friday position, working a minimum of 8 hours per day accruing a monthly RDO.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall fire detection and alarm systems across commercial, industrial and mining sitesInstall and terminate fire alarm cablingInstall smoke, heat,



beam and aspirating smoke detection systems including VESDAInstall EWIS, occupant warning systems and emergency communication systemsCarry out fault finding and troubleshooting on fire systemsRead and interpret drawings, schematics and technical documentationComplete testing and commissioning activitiesMaintain accurate service reports and installation recordsWork safely in accordance with WHS requirements and site proceduresLiaise with clients, supervisors and project teams on siteParticipate in mine site and industrial shutdown projects as requiredAt Total Fire Solutions, we believe that our success is driven by the talent and dedication of our team.
