and staging freight using PED devices to ensure accurate freight movement and dispatchCorrectly balancing truck weight distribution and maximising trailer and truck space utilisationOperating TUG vehicles to move loaded trailers around the depot when requiredOpening and closing tautliners and gates, applying load restraint strapping, and ensuring compliance with load restraint standardsAssisting with general depot operations and freight handling duties while maintaining secure work practicesRequirements:Minimum 2 years' recent Linehaul loading experienceStrong understanding of load distribution and load restraint complianceExperience handling oversized freight and dangerous goodsAbility to work independently and within a teamTUG experience highly regardedAdditional Requirements:Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police checkStrong safety focus and attention to detailReliable transport and availability for PM shiftsAustralian Permanent Residency or Citizenship requiredCommitment to an ongoing temp-to-perm role
