Ennui is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Haymarket, NSW.
This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our operations and guest experience.
As Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our establishment, assisting in the management of daily operations, and ensuring our team delivers exceptional service to every guest who walks through our doors.
What you'll be doing
Assisting in the day-to-day management of all FOH operations
Supporting staff supervision and optimal team performance
Helping to maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction across all areas
Assisting with inventory management, stock control, and ordering of supplies
Supporting the implementation and adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards
Helping to resolve guest queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Assisting with training and development of team members
Supporting marketing initiatives and promotional activities
Helping to manage cash handling and financial administration
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for




Proven experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role within a similar establishment
Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
Knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage service standards
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
