This support can take place in a persons home or within their community Individual goals vary for different people, including but not limited to support with cleaning and maintaining their home, personal care, meal assistance, community access, recreation, communication and education.Responsibilities include:Ensure clients are supported to maintain choice and control of their goals and follow individual support plansMaintain a record of duties undertakenFlexibility, working weekdays, afternoons, evenings, overnight, Saturdays, Sundays and Public HolidaysEnsure privacy and confidentiality principles are always maintainedHave a proactive and positive approach in supporting clientsAbide by organisation and NDIS Code of conductSkills, experience and requirementsA roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insuranceValid NDIS Worker ClearanceValid Working With Children CheckFirst Aid and CPR trained (or willing to complete)Those with a certificate or experience supporting people with a disability are highly regarded.
