The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Remanufacturing team based in Wacol.
In this role, you will play an important part in supporting our Fitters with the remanufacturing of key components across the Hitachi product range.

Key responsibilities include:
Pressure washing machine components
Assisting Tradespeople with the disassembly of components in line with established procedures when required
Maintaining a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspections and preparing units for dispatch
Assisting with stores control, including the receipt and dispatch of Reman items
Soda blasting a range of machine components
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
Be mechanically minded with a strong willingness to learn
Have the ability to identify basic product quality issues and defects
Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Be flexible to work varying hours, shifts, and overtime when required
Hold a Forklift Licence, Dogging Ticket, and/or previous blasting experience (highly regarded)
