Lever Law is a modern boutique law firm based in Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast.
With an established reputation for providing practical, client-focused legal services, we are experiencing continued growth and are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PAE to join our friendly and collaborative team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated lawyer who enjoys building strong client relationships, taking ownership of matters, and further developing their career within a firm that values excellence, professionalism, and work-life balance.
About the Role
Working closely with our experienced conveyancers and legal team, you will have significant client contact while managing diverse and engaging property law matters, including:
Residential and commercial conveyancing from pre-contract advice through to settlement;
Form 2 Seller Disclosure and contract review/preparation;
Property development matters, including subdivisions, disclosure documentation and off-the-plan sales and purchases;
Transfers of Manufactured Homes, Marina Berths and Retirement Village leases;
Property transfers, including related-party transactions and transfers pursuant to Court Orders;
General property law advice including assessment of transfer duty concessions/exemptions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:




A minimum of 3 years PAE practising in property law
Demonstrated experience in Queensland residential and commercial conveyancing
Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with legal technology, including PEXA, Practice Management Systems (Smokeball experience advantageous) and Queensland Titles Office eLodgement
Strong knowledge and understanding of current AML/CTF requirements relevant to property transactions
Experience with property finance matters, including mortgages and loan documentation
Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable and client-focused manner
The ability to effectively manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
A positive attitude and desire to contribute to a supportive team culture
