Construction Administrator, Operations & Contracts Coordinator

Split Solutions is a well-established family‐owned residential construction company looking for an experienced Construction Administrator to become an integral part of our team.
This is a hands‐on role for someone who understands the residential building industry and thrives on creating structure, improving processes and keeping projects running smoothly.
The successful applicant will bring strong experience using Buildxact and will take ownership of our administration, contracts, scheduling and financial processes while helping introduce systems and procedures that support the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage residential building contracts and documentation.
Manage projects through Buildxact, including scheduling, job tracking and workflow management.
Introduce and improve office systems, processes and procedures.
Coordinate client, supplier and subcontractor documentation.
Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general bookkeeping using Xero.
Reconcile accounts and work with our external accountant/bookkeeper as required.
Support the directors with reporting,



administration and business operations.
Ensure compliance with building and contractual requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience working in a residential construction business (beneficial).
Strong working knowledge of Buildxact (beneficial).
Experience managing building contracts and construction administration.
Bookkeeping experience, including Xero or similar accounting software.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills with clients, trades and suppliers.
A proactive mindset with the confidence to recommend and implement improvements.
