Frog Recruitment

New South Wales

International law firm with a well-established IP practice operating across key global markets.
The Sydney team is lean, partner-led and handles complex, high-value contentious matters.
The structure is tight and deliberately built for progression, with clear exposure to senior lawyers and cross-border work.
Role
Work split is roughly 70% contentious (primarily patent litigation, with broader IP disputes) and 30% advisory.
You will be across matters end-to-end, not siloed into discrete tasks.
You report directly to 2x IP Partners.
Matters are complex, often technical, and frequently involve coordination with international offices.
You will run components of litigation, manage clients, and supervise juniors where appropriate.
Candidate

3-4yrs Proven IP litigation experience in a reputable firm
Exposure to patent disputes is strongly preferred
Ability to handle validity and infringement analysis
Solid advisory capability across IP, but not at the expense of disputes
Robust technical grounding.
A science background materially strengthens your position
Direct partner access and exposure to high-end contentious work
International platform with cross-border matters
Structured but not over-layered team
***** WFH split with 3 days in the office (non-negotiable minimum)
