High Risk Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Advance and Intermediate Scaffolder to join our team in Gladstone, QLD.
This is a full-time position offering a valuable prospect to contribute your expertise within the mining, resources and energy sector.
You will be working on complex scaffolding projects that are critical to the safe and efficient operation of industrial facilities.
This role is based on-site in Gladstone QLD ****, where you will apply your advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality scaffolding solutions for our clients.Key responsibilitiesDesign, plan and erect advanced and intermediate scaffolding structures in accordance with industry standards and client specificationsConduct thorough risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure all scaffolding installations comply with relevant legislation and regulationsInspect scaffolding systems regularly to identify defects, wear and potential hazards, and perform necessary repairs or modificationsCollaborate with site managers, engineers and other trades to coordinate scaffolding requirements and timelinesMaintain accurate documentation and records relating to scaffolding installations, inspections and maintenance activitiesTrain and mentor junior scaffolders, providing guidance on best practices and safety proceduresOperate specialised equipment safely,



including elevated work platforms and rigging equipmentRespond promptly to changes in project scope or emergency situations requiring scaffold modificationsWhat we're looking forA minimum of 3 years' practical experience as an advance and intermediate scaffolder within the mining, resources or energy sectorCurrent and valid scaffolding certifications, including intermediate or advanced level qualifications recognised in AustraliaDemonstrated competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specificationsStrong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS ****) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation applicable to scaffoldingProficiency in performing load calculations and understanding structural principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in team environmentsA proactive approach to safety with a proven track record of maintaining high safety standards on sitePhysical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periodsA current valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Queensland as requiredPreferred: Experience working in coal mining or LNG facilities, and familiarity with confined space scaffolding applicationsWhat we offerHigh Risk Solutions Pty Ltd is committed to supporting our employees with competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package.
