Woodlands Enterprises is a long-established, family-owned agricultural business operating across poultry farming, feed manufacturing, hatchery, processing and associated services.We are seeking an experienced and practical Broiler Farm Services Officer to support our broiler growers and help maintain consistently high standards of flock performance, animal welfare, biosecurity, food safety and farm operations.About the roleThis is a hands‐on, field‐based position involving regular travel between broiler farms.
You will work closely with growers, management, the hatchery, veterinarians and operational teams to identify issues early, provide practical advice and ensure corrective actions are implemented.The position is responsible for monitoring flock health, growth, mortality, feed and water consumption, environmental conditions and other performance indicators.
It also supports farm auditing, sampling, compliance, shed preparation and continuous improvement activities.Key responsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:Conducting scheduled and additional visits to broiler farms.Completing accurate Flock Service Reports and maintaining farm records.Monitoring flock health, growth, mortality, liveability, feed and water consumption.Identifying emerging flock, welfare, operational or quality concerns.Providing clear and practical advice to growers.Supporting approved animal husbandry and welfare practices.Reviewing mortality trends and coordinating post‐mortem examinations where appropriate.Monitoring compliance with biosecurity,



food safety and quality requirements.Completing internal farm and batch audits and following corrective actions through to completion.Supporting external audits conducted by customers, regulators and certification bodies.Collecting environmental, water and other samples in accordance with approved procedures.Monitoring water quality, chlorination, shed hygiene and farm presentation.Assisting with the coordination of cleanout, sanitation and shed preparation activities.Providing induction, coaching and practical training to growers and farm personnel.Participating in weekend and emergency on‐call arrangements.About youThe successful applicant will ideally have:Experience in poultry production, broiler farming, livestock management or a closely related agricultural setting.Strong practical knowledge of animal husbandry, flock health, welfare, biosecurity and farm operations.A relevant qualification in agriculture, poultry, animal science or livestock management, although equivalent practical experience will also be considered.The confidence to identify concerns, provide practical recommendations and escalated matters when required.Strong communication and relationship‐management skills.Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate reports,
