A well-established Australian organisation is seeking an experienced Recoveries Consultant to join its team, based in Brisbane's northern suburbs.

You will manage your own caseload of recovery files, negotiating directly with customers and third parties to reach fair, cost-effective outcomes.
The role involves regular phone-based negotiation, careful assessment of each case, and sound judgement in determining the most appropriate path to resolve every file.
On a day-to-day basis the key responsibilities are:Manage an allocated portfolio of recovery files from initial contact through to resolutionConduct outbound negotiations with customers and third parties to reach fair settlementsAssess each case on its merits,
drawing on a sound understanding of liability and relevant obligationsIdentify vulnerability or financial hardship indicators early and respond appropriatelyManage inbound queries and maintain clear, timely communication with all partiesDetermine the most appropriate resolution path for each file, escalating where requiredThis position is well suited to an outcome orientated collections professional.
