About the opportunityAs our Roster Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in keeping our residential aged care service running smoothly and efficiently.
You'll take ownership of rostering, workforce administration and payroll support, helping to ensure our teams are in there to deliver exceptional care.You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate, compliant and accessible rosters, while analysing workforce data and providing timely reporting on key rostering metrics to support informed decision-making.You will contribute to Uniting's person-centred approach by supporting staff, residents, and families through efficient, skilled and confidential rostering practices.Key responsibilitiesManage day-to-day rostering for staff including updates, changes and compliancePrepare and maintain roster reports and support payroll processesCollaborate with the Workforce Coordinator to ensure rosters are current and accessibleRespond to internal and external enquiries, including staff and residents' familiesOrganise meetings, training sessions and take minutes as requiredProcess invoices accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure confidentiality, privacy and compliance with Uniting policies and legislationCommunicate effectively with people from diverse backgroundsQualificationsTypically, this role requires a Certificate III in Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent rostering experienceSkills & experienceProven experience in rostering for 100+ staff (essential)Experience supporting payroll and workforce reportingStrong computer skills with systems such as CRM, rostering software,



and Work Smart Dynamics highly regardedExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskWell-developed organisational and time management skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office suiteAbility to problem-solve, negotiate, and manage competing prioritiesCreating a better future for youOur people are at the heart of everything we do.
