Supports stakeholders with software-based and configuration upgrade to ensure all devices within the network are operational.

This position typically works under general supervision and direction.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnoses and troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical equipment by use of computer-based test programs, verbal/ written instructions and general-purpose test equipmentInteract effectively with internal and external stakeholdersUtilise, install, verify and trouble-shoot required/loaded software on both testing equipment and customer return devices according to Software Release Notifications (SRN)Read schematics, diagrams to determine methods of assembly and repairOperate diagnostic systems to debug and isolate complex faults to component levelRepair faulty units by replacing defective components and retest before releaseRework of printed circuit boards (PCBs), with both surface mount and through hole componentsPerform in-house preventative maintenance and refurbishment of major modulesMaintain accurate records of all daily work accomplished and record keeping using a computer maintenance management systemSuggest ways of improving methods and procedures, including software and firmware loading improvementsIdentify, analyse, and resolve problems related to electromechanical machinery and equipmentSet up hardware and install and configure software and driversMaintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devicesTroubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionalityReport any potential non-conformance or problemsProvide accurate information for Cubic's service management systemsReport all WHSE incidents, potential hazards,
