You bring demonstrated strategic experience working in partnership with Aboriginal communities Ongoing, Clerk Grade ***** opportunity ($149,739 - $173,174 per annum), based in Mascot About the RoleThe Manager, Community Investment is responsible for coordinating and delivering ALT's Community Investment Program, including the administration of language grant funding.
The role provides both strategic and operational oversight of program governance, finance, compliance, and audit requirements, ensuring the Trust meets its financial management, reporting, and risk obligations.
Working closely with government partners and Aboriginal communities, the role supports effective program delivery and alignment with the Trust's strategic objectives.
You will join our Aboriginal Affairs team within the Aboriginal Language Trust branch.

To learn more about the role please review the Role Description We're Looking For Funding Program Leadership: Leads end to end funding programs by designing and implementing program plans, governance, risk management, assessment processes and reporting frameworks to ensure effective delivery and full compliance with the NSW Grant Administration Guide and relevant legislation and policy.
Grants Compliance and Best Practice: Embeds best-practice grants management, transparency and accountability across all stages of program design and delivery while ensuring ongoing compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
Financial and Budget Management:



Provides strategic advice on grant program budgets, prepares financial reports and updates for the ALT Board, and ensures clear oversight of budget performance, financial risks and resourcing needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Partnership: Works closely with internal stakeholders and external program partners to scope, develop and deliver targeted funding programs that achieve agreed outcomes within required timeframes.
Executive and Ministerial Advice: Delivers expert advice and high-quality briefings to the Executive Director, ALT Board and Minister's Offices on community investment, compliance, program deliverables, strategic risks and overall program and financial performance.
People Leadership and Capability Development: Leads and develops a team by setting clear priorities, allocating work effectively and supporting capability development to deliver high-quality outcomes and maximise the effective use of resources.
