The role ensuresanalytical results are accurate, timely, and compliant with laboratory quality standards.
The position operates within strict safety and chemical handling requirements and contributes to maintaining high laboratory performance standards.Key Responsibilities Include:Conduct sample preparation including drying, crushing, pulverising, and splitting in accordance with laboratory proceduresPerform Photon analysis, wet chemistry, and other analytical and metallurgical test work as requiredOperate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and efficientlyAccurately record assay and test results in laboratory systemsFollow QA/QC procedures including insertion of standards, blanks, and duplicatesIdentify and report analytical discrepancies or equipment faultsMaintain housekeeping standards within the laboratorySafely handle chemicals and reagents in accordance with site safety requirementsAssist with routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentsEnsure laboratory documentation and records are completed accurately and on timeParticipate in safety meetings, hazard reporting, and laboratory inspectionsAssist metallurgists with metallurgical test work programs as requiredComply with all site safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratoryWhy Join Us?
