$80,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation

Position Overview

As an Engineering Technologist at Alpha Mechanical Group Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for supporting the analysis, modification, testing and implementation of engineering technologies across a variety of mechanical engineering projects.
This position requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to improve system performance, efficiency and reliability while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Analyse existing and emerging mechanical engineering technologies to assess their suitability for project requirements and operational conditions.
Modify and adapt engineering systems, tools and processes to improve performance, efficiency and reliability across mechanical engineering projects.
Assist in the testing and validation of engineering designs, prototypes and systems prior to full-scale implementation.
Apply engineering principles to support the development and implementation of mechanical systems and engineering solutions.
Prepare technical reports,



documentation and analysis relating to engineering modifications, testing outcomes and project implementation.
Support engineers in identifying technical issues within engineering systems and recommend practical improvements.
Participate in the implementation and commissioning of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Conduct performance evaluations of engineering systems and recommend adjustments to optimise functionality and operational performance.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate new technologies into existing mechanical and operational systems.
Ensure all engineering modifications and project implementations comply with workplace health and safety requirements, engineering standards and project objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in engineering or other comparable and relevant field
Minimum one year experience as an Engineering Technologist.
Robust knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and engineering technologies.
Demonstrated ability to analyse, modify and improve engineering systems and processes.
Experience in testing, validating and implementing engineering technologies and solutions.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications and project documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to workplace health and safety and continuous improvement.
Salary
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
