You will translate client needs into highly functional commercial, industrial, retail, and residential environments, with a strong focus on strategic space planning and maximizing occupant well-being.Key duties include:Design & Documentation: Translate client briefs into concept designs, mood boards, and 3D visualisations.
Produce detailed construction drawings, schedules, and specifications (including Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment - FF&E;).
Compliance & Planning: Perform spatial planning while adhering strictly to building codes, fire regulations, and accessibility standards (e.g., BCA or relevant Australian Standards).
Project Management:



Collaborate with architects, engineers, builders, plumbers, and cabinet makers.
Review plans, troubleshoot in office, and keep projects on budget and on schedule.Stakeholder Engagement: Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, actively incorporating feedback and refining concepts.Sourcing & Procurement: Negotiate with suppliers and vendors, order materials, and oversee the installation of interior elements to maintain aesthetic integrity.To be considered you will need a relevant AQF equivalent Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or higher qualification and at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least three years of relevant employment experience.This is a full time position, an immediate start is available.
A remuneration package of $80,000 - $90,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
