This is a structured 12-month traineeship designed to give you the foundations, skills, and experience needed to progress into a full Sales Executive role across our New and Pre-Owned vehicle teams.
About the Role
As a Sales Trainee, you will be based primarily within our Pre-Owned Vehicle department, reporting directly to and mentored by our Pre-Owned Manager.
Over the course of 12 months, you will develop hands-on experience across the dealership while building the product knowledge, customer skills, and sales fundamentals needed to launch a successful career in luxury automotive retail.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate and execute professional vehicle photography for our Pre-Owned stock on Carsales and other platformsManage the presentation and preparation of Pre-Owned vehicles to Mercedes-Benz display standardsAssist with vehicle deliveries across both our New and Pre-Owned departmentsSupport the sales team with customer interactions and administrative tasksDevelop product knowledge across the Mercedes-Benz model rangeLearn the end-to-end sales process under the direct guidance of your managerContribute to a positive team workplace in a high-performing dealership
To be successful, you will have:
A genuine enthusiasm for cars and the Mercedes-Benz brandA professional presentation and willingness to learnStrong attention to detail,



particularly around vehicle presentation and photographyA customer-focused attitude and confident communication styleThe ability to take direction and work as part of a close-knit teamA current and valid driver's licencePrevious customer service or retail experience (advantageous but not essential)
