With an established presence in New South Wales and an expanding footprint in Queensland, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and grow our Queensland operations.This is an exciting prospect for a driven construction professional looking to play a key role in establishing and expanding our Queensland business while delivering major civil infrastructure projects.About the RoleReporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects across Queensland, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.Key responsibilities include:Leading and mentoring project delivery teamsManaging multiple civil construction projects simultaneouslyDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationshipsDriving project performance, profitability and business growthOverseeing project planning, resourcing and programme deliveryEnsuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality systemsSupporting tendering, procurement and business development activitiesIdentifying opportunities to expand Mack Civil's presence within the Queensland marketAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will possess:Minimum 10 years' experience within the civil construction industryDemonstrated experience delivering projects for local councils,



state government agencies and the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR)Proven experience managing road upgrades, intersections, streetscapes, active transport, public domain and infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of Queensland Transport and Main Roads specifications, standards and delivery requirementsDemonstrated leadership capability managing Project Managers, Engineers and site teamsStrong commercial acumen and contract administration experienceExcellent stakeholder and client management skillsTertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related disciplineA proactive attitude with a desire to help grow a business and establish a long-term presence in QueenslandWhy Join Mack Civil?
