Due to strong growth, Core Consultants has a excellent opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer in our Brisbane or Gold Coast operations.Core is a SEQ employee-owned business with a diverse range of projects including land development and infrastructure, industrial and warehouse developments, medium and high-rise buildings and transport projects - across a wide range of geological conditions in both the planning/design and construction delivery phases.The role also includes opportunities for collaboration with our environmental and geophysics teams on multi-disciplinary projects.Key responsibilities of the role include:Geotechnical analyses and reportingProject managementGeotechnical site investigations and inspectionsDelivering practical engineering adviceDeveloping great client relationshipsProposals and cost estimates.Qualifications:Bachelor of Engineering2 - 5 years geotechnical experience, including SEQ geotechnical conditionsEnjoy learning and mentoring, working in teams as a task-focused problem solver, and a mix of office and site workGood written and oral communication skillsDriver's licence.Benefits and development opportunities:The role includes ongoing mentoring and career/technical development opportunities, as well as the option to become an owner-shareholder of Core Consultants.We recognise the need to manage our time to maintain a balance with our personal life and provide a 9-day fortnight as standard.
