Enrolled Nurses
to join our
Medical Ward
, providing high-quality care to
older adult and elderly patients
with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions who may be receiving care awaiting placement or end of life care.
About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
You'll play an important role in assisting patients through their hospital journey — supporting daily care, monitoring clinical needs, and contributing to the overall wellbeing and comfort of every patient.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Monitor, record, and report patient observations and changes in condition.
Support patients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
Contribute to care planning, discharge preparation, and multidisciplinary communication.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection prevention and management standards.

Selection criteria - Enrolled Nurse
Essential:
Current registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of nursing care in a medical or aged care setting
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care
A passion for providing quality nursing care to frail older adults.
Desirable:
Nursing experience in a hospital medical ward setting.
Further Information
Successful applicants must provide:
National Police Clearance (valid within the last 12 months)
Working with Children Check
Evidence of COVID vaccination and other relevant infectious diseases screening that complies with current health directives.
