Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced NDIS Support Worker to provide meal preparation and cooking support for an NDIS participant in Dunkeld, VIC.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking and is passionate about helping people develop practical life skills and increase their independence.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist with meal planning and preparation.
-Support and encourage the participant to develop basic cooking skills.
-Promote independence and active participation in meal preparation.
-Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen environment.
-Build a positive, respectful, and supportive relationship with the participant.
-Complete shift notes and follow the participant's support plan.
Qualifications:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or relevant field (preferred).




Experience working with individuals with disabilities (desired).
Understanding of the NDIS and person-centered approaches.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Candidate must speak English as his/her first language.
Must have ABN (Australian Business Number)
Candidate must be Australian with good communication skills.
Shift Details:
Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: As required
