#AAAJob DescriptionAbility Action Australia are looking for Behaviour Support Practitioners of all experience and suitability levels in Ryde, Bankstown and surrounding areas.Whether you are just starting your Behaviour Support career or have suitability levels Core, Proficient or Advanced, this is an chance to make a real impact, take ownership of your work, and continue building your capability in a supportive environment.If you enjoy solving complex challenges and seeing tangible progress in your work, you'll thrive here.In this role you will:Supporting NDIS participants, along with their families and carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planningOwning the assessment, development and delivery of evidence-based support plans within a complex support environmentDriving meaningful goals and measurable outcomes, using a positive behaviour support framework and a commitment to eliminating restrictive practicesEnsuring plans reflect each participant's goals,



strengths and what matters most to themBuilding the capability, confidence and understanding of those supporting participants in their day-to-day livesWorking collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced practitionersQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:A degree qualification as an allied health professionalExperience in report writingStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseloadA proactive, self-motivated approach, with a drive to improve outcomes and test new ideasA genuine passion for working in the disability sectorWhat's in it for you?
