About the Role
We are looking for experienced Construction Trainer who will provide high-quality, accredited training delivery and assessment that meets student needs and upholds compliance requirements with vocational education and training (VET) regulations.
This is a permanent role working 4 days delivering training programs across the Illawarra and Sydney regions.
Some programs will be delivered at high schools in Sydney, so willingness to travel is required.
The role is also open to casual opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of the following qualifications:
CPC***** - Cert II in Construction Pathways
Non-Accredited Trade Readiness ProgramsDelivered onsite at ITeC and in schools across Sydney3 Day Non-Accredited Micro Build Program providing trades experience in Carpentry & Joinery, Basic Plumbing and Electrical.
To Be successful You will have
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Tertiary/post-secondary qualifications from a related field (Building & Construction, carpentry)Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in delivering TrainingOutstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skillsSound digital literacy skills and people engagement skillsExcellent teamwork and collaboration/co-design skillsStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated problem solving ability and coordination skillsAbility to prioritise and work to deadlinesNSW Working with Children CheckCurrent Australian driver's license
