About the Role
:
As a
Camco Mechanical Apprentice,
you will work towards earning a
Certificate III qualification
, specialising in one of the following trades:
Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining)
Mechanical Trade (Fitting)
Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)
Electrician Trade (Electrical Fitting)
What You Will Do:
Develop a wide range of mechanical engineering skills through
workplace-based learning.
Stay committed to
safety
and
personal wellbeing
in all aspects of your work.
Complete tasks with a
positive attitude
and a willingness to learn.
Adhere to company
uniform
and
PPE requirements
(even at TAFE).
Work with a supportive supervisor to tailor your
learning program
and gain practical, hands-on experience.
Complete a
mechanical aptitude test
and undergo a




pre-employment medical
, including a
drug and alcohol screening
.
Hold a
current Australian driver's licence
for potential travel to work sites.
