In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Finance department, supporting the accurate preparation and reporting of our financial statements whilst ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Key responsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and classifiedSupport the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, timely submission of monthly PAYG and quarterly BASManage and prepare weekly payroll and monthly payroll tax submissionProcess and code financial transactions,
invoices and supporting documentationAssist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses for management and external accountantMaintain comprehensive financial records and supporting documentationPerform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresWhat we're looking forRelevant qualification in accounting or finance (such as CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification, or currently working towards one)Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting within a similar roleStrong proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting systems, Xero preferredSolid understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting requirementsExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all financial recordsProficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applicationsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team membersWhat we offerAt Exair Group, we recognise that our employees are our greatest asset.
