Job Description
Cibaria Noosa is looking for a confident, organised and experienced Host to join our Front of House team!
As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll play a critical role in creating exceptional customer experiences while keeping service running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace.
We're looking for someone who thrives under pressure, thinks quickly on their feet, and has a genuine passion for hospitality.
About the Role
Be the first point of contact for all guests, creating a warm, welcoming and professional first impression
Manage reservations, seating plans and waitlists to ensure smooth and productive service flow throughout each shift
Monitor guest arrivals and table allocations, balancing service demands while maximising the dining experience




Effectively handle guest enquiries, special requests and feedback, resolving issues with confidence and professionalism
Maintain accurate reservation and guest information within our booking platform
Communicate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors and Front of House team regarding service requirements, VIP guests and table availability
Assist in coordinating large bookings, special events and peak service periods
Proactively manage guest expectations and wait times while delivering exceptional customer service
Ensure host stand, entry areas and guest-facing spaces are presented to the highest standard at all times
Support the wider Front of House team as required to ensure seamless restaurant operations
Contribute to a positive team culture by leading with professionalism, energy and a guest-first mindset
Qualifications
Experienced in a Host, Front of House or customer-facing hospitality role
A strong problem solver who can remain calm under pressure
Confident managing guest expectations in a busy restaurant environment
Highly organised with exceptional communication skills
Able to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture
Proficient with reservation systems; SevenRooms experience highly regarded
