Field Service Technician / Analytical InstrumentsAmscorp Scientific supplies and services specialist analytical instruments used by pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, and industrial customers across Australia and New Zealand.Amscorp is expanding its service capability across Australia and selected international markets, and we are looking for a practical, reliable Field Service Technician to grow with the business.This role suits someone who enjoys fixing technical problems, working hands‐on with equipment, travelling to customer sites, and building deep product knowledge over time.You do not need to know every instrument from day one.
The right person will be technically minded, organised, good with customers, and willing to learn.About the roleYou will support the installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments at customer sites and from our Sydney office.The work includes a mix of workshop preparation, customer site visits, documentation, technical support, interstate travel, and occasional international travel as Amscorp continues to expand.
International travel may be required for supplier training, customer support, installations, or service projects.Interstate travel is usually about every 2 weeks and may range from a day trip to a few nights away.Whilst not travelling for service work, the role will include assisting with operational activities including shipping, internal projects etc.Key responsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance, calibration, and service work on analytical instrumentsDiagnose and troubleshoot instrument issuesAssist with instrument installations, upgrades, testing, and commissioningPrepare service reports, calibration records, and customer documentationCommunicate clearly with customers before, during, and after service visitsWork with the internal team and suppliers to resolve technical issuesMaintain service tools, spare parts,
