About The Role
We are looking for a qualified Chef/Cook looking for a change of pace, if you have a passion to work within the aged care sector we would love to hear from you.
About You
You will hold relevant certifications and have a comprehensive understanding of Food Safety Laws and Occupational Health and Safety in a kitchen environment.
You will have demonstrated experience in all facets of food preparation including managing a team, menu planning, preparation of daily meals ensuring they are fresh, well-presented and appetising.
Furthermore, you will possess the following:
Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higherFood Safety Supervisor Training (Health & Community) - HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005 and HLTFSE007Experience working in a food services environment and in the supervision of staffInterpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families,



employees and volunteers; patience; common sense and an understanding of client serviceCommitment to work as part of a team and without supervisionAbility to be self-motivated and to promote a positive lifestyle environmentWell-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to operate with discretion and to maintain complete confidentialityAvailability to work Saturday and Sunday each week is essential for this role
