About Reliable Asset Maintenance
Reliable Asset Maintenance (RAM) is a growing commercial maintenance and project delivery company providing planned maintenance, reactive works and projects across a range of commercial, industrial, government and defence environments throughout Western Australia.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role delivering a wide variety of carpentry, building maintenance and minor works across our commercial client portfolio.
The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of jobs from start to finish whilst maintaining RAM's high standards of workmanship, professionalism and safety.
The role is a salaried role (paid fortnightly), contracted to 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Complete general repairs/refurbishments, reactive/planned maintenance, and building and fit-out works.
Ability to work independently on jobs as well as with a team, including with apprentices and providing development support where required.
Diagnose building defects, identify practical repair solutions and scope work for quoting.
Accurately complete job documentation, service reports and photographs on software system.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship, housekeeping and customer service on every job.




Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and client requirements and record relevant documents/incidents on software system.
About You
Trade qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience, supervision experience highly regarded
Previous experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities maintenance.
Broad building maintenance experience with the ability to turn your hand to a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A positive attitude with pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Commitment to working safely and contributing positively to the team.
Ability to work away when required for short periods of time.
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification)
Current White Card
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Ability to obtain:
National Police Clearance
Working with Children Check
Working at Heights
Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
Australian Citizen
The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance at the required level.
Eligibility to obtain this clearance is mandatory.
