The Role We're looking for a dedicated Verification and Validation (V&V;) Officer to join a Defence program team in Canberra.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a sharp analytical mindset and an eye for detail to help ensure systems, processes and deliverables meet the standard required across the program lifecycle.You'll work closely with engineering, integration and project teams, providing V&V; and Test & Evaluation support from planning right through to acceptance and operational readiness.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and coordinate Verification and Validation Plans aligned with program schedules and milestonesPlan and support execution of Test & Evaluation activities, including test scenarios, procedures and schedulesMaintain requirements traceability, ensuring all system requirements are verified, validated and closed outAnalyse test results and verification evidence to identify defects,



non-conformances and corrective actionsProvide V&V; and T&E; input to design reviews and prepare test reports, verification records and assurance documentation
RequiredCurrent AGSVA NV1 security clearanceExperience in verification, validation or test and evaluation roles, ideally within a Defence or systems engineering environmentStrong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with testing methodologies, risk assessment and quality assurance practicesStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and work independently
