**Duties include:**
• Attend and actively participate in Board meetings and the AGM
• Prepare for meetings by reviewing agendas and supporting documents
• Respond in a timely manner when input or feedback is requested
• Contribute ideas, insights and constructive discussion to support the School's strategic direction
• Exercise your vote as part of Board decision-making
• Act in the best interests of the School and its community
• Support and promote the work of the School within the community where appropriate

**Experience:** Board experience is preferred but not essential, we'll support you to get up to speed.

The School Board meets for approximately 90 minutes, eight times per year (twice per school term), usually on a Thursday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
The next Board meeting is scheduled for 17 September.
The role also requires some time commitment outside of meetings and is appointed for a two-year term.
