Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $129,464 - $142,665 plus shift allowances, superannuation and leave loading
This role is shift based and will require travel across the region for attending race-day events

About the role
As a Senior Steward, you'll play a key leadership role in safeguarding the integrity and animal welfare standards of greyhound racing across Current South Wales.
You will lead the monitoring and control of race meetings across multiple venues, coordinating critical race-day activities from kenneling and inspections through to on-track operations and incident response.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll manage reporting and real-time issue resolution, oversee the collection of samples for prohibited substance detection, and ensure procedures are applied consistently and accurately.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to a calm, decisive leader with strong judgement and exceptional attention to detail.
About You
A proven people leader, with significant experience in a regulatory role and/or racing environment, officiating and overseeing greyhound race meetings.
Hands-on capability coordinating kenneling procedures, assessing track surfaces and facilities, supervising swabbing/veterinary inspections, and resolving on-track issues in real time.
Demonstrated capability in incident investigation and evidence gathering, including preparing clear reports and correspondence, issuing penalties, and contributing to inquiries/appeals with accurate, defensible records.




Strong decision-making under pressure with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to liaise effectively with GRNSW race-day staff, track teams, and integrity/compliance units (including monitoring betting activity and escalating anomalies).
