The
Clinical Research Provisional Fellow in Endocrinology and Diabetes
is available at The Children's Hospital at Westmead (CHW) for the **** Clincial Year from 01 February **** to 06 Feburary ****.
The positon is required:
1. To support current clinical research projects in diabetes and endocrinology, within the Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetes at CHW.
2. To provide clinical support for patients with diabetes and endocrine, disorders as required.
3. To participate in the on call roster for endocrinology and diabetes.
4. To participate in departmental meetings including weekly clinical case review, educational presentations, journal club and medical student teaching.
The Clinical Research Provisional Fellow in Endocrinology and Diabetes position is a 12 month full time position that will support current research projects in endocrinology, and diabetes at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
Projects will be determined by funding sources and the needs of the department.

Selection Criteria:
MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
Registered with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as an advanced trainee with ATC Paediatric Endocrinology or equivalent.




Those registered with the RACP, must have preferably completed a minimum 12 months as an advanced trainee with RACP ATC Paediatric Endocrinology (or equivalent) at commencement of Fellowship.
The position is suited to advanced trainees in the latter part of their training as they progress towards a higher research degree and/or a consultant position in the future years.
Demonstrated career interest or relevant experience in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
