We are seeking a passionate and skilled Community Development and Training Worker to join our Community Development and Training team and contribute to lasting change across Central Australia.
About
the Role
As the Community Development and Training Worker, you will play a key role in developing and delivering community education initiatives, coordinating prevention activities, facilitating training, and strengthening collaboration across the domestic, family and sexual violence sector.
You'll work alongside community members, government agencies, service providers and key stakeholders to raise awareness, build capability and support meaningful social change.
This position will be based in Alice Springs and provides services in Central Australia and selected remote communities.

who can confidently navigate diverse tasks; from workshops and stakeholder engagement to content creation and reporting.
You'll bring curiosity, adaptability, and a reflective approach to your work, with the ability to read a room, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively across sectors.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a passionate and capable community development professional who is committed to creating safer futures for women and children.
You will bring qualifications and/or experience in Community Development, Human Services, Social Work or a related field, along with demonstrated experience delivering training, workshops and community education programs.
You will have a strong understanding of gendered violence, trauma-informed and strengths-based practice, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships across diverse sectors.
Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal communities, solid organisational capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering collaboration and positive partnerships will be highly regarded.

What we Offer
You will receive a competitive base salary with additional salary packaging benefits and 12% superannuation.
In addition, we provide 15 days of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Leave and offer a Wellbeing Allowance.
You will also receive 6 weeks annual leave to explore Alice Springs and Central Australia.
