Position Classification: Registered Nurse Remuneration: $81,****** - $114,****** per annum - pro rata for part time hours Hours

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and clinically driven Nurses to join our Mixed Medical Ward, providing specialised care across a diverse range of medical specialties including Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Genetics, Immunology, Dermatology, and Adolescent Medicine.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills while caring for patients with complex and often rare medical conditions in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

You'll be based in the Chronic and Complex Care Ward at Westmead Hospital, one of Australia's largest and most respected tertiary referral hospitals.

What you'll be doing As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients with chronic and complex conditions, ensuring safe, effective and coordinated care across the patient journey within the Chronic and Complex Care Ward.
In this role you will be:
Delivering individualised, evidence-based nursing care to maximise patient outcomes.
Responding to changing patient conditions and managing competing clinical priorities.
Coordinating discharge planning and making appropriate referrals to support continuity of care.
Supervising, mentoring and supporting nursing staff and students within your scope of practice.
Advocating for patients and families while managing resources efficiently and ethically.

Essential Criteria
Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Checks: National Police Check & Working with Children Check Selection Criteria:
Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
