As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Kingston, Brisbane South.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the company's cash flow by ensuring customer accounts are managed efficiently, payments are received on time, and strong relationships are maintained with our clients.
This is a full-time, office-based position offering genuine career development and progression opportunities within your first 12 months of employment.
About the Role Your responsibilities will include: Credit screening and setting up new customer accounts Maintaining PPSR registrations Raising and issuing customer invoices and credit notes accurately and on time.
Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts.
Following up outstanding invoices by phone and email.
Managing customer account queries and resolving billing discrepancies.
Performing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate customer records.
Preparing debtor reports and assisting with month-end reporting.
Working closely with Branch Managers and internal stakeholders to resolve account issues.
Monitoring customer credit limits and escalating overdue accounts where required.
Supporting the Finance team with general administrative duties.
Maintaining high levels of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance across all Accounts Receivable activities.
About You We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys building positive relationships while working in a fast-paced setting.
To be successful, you will have: Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role.




Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry accuracy.
Experience using accounting or ERP software.
Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence communicating with customers regarding outstanding accounts.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience working within the construction industry.
Experience using ERP or construction-based accounting software.
Knowledge of credit management and collections processes.
