Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnightOrder – Apprentices and Trainees Wages and ConditionsLocation – RockhamptonYour new roleFitzroy River Water has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join their team as a Treatment Plant Operator Trainee to study towards a Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment which has a 24-month nominal study term.With hands-on mentoring from qualified staff, you will learn how to monitor and analyse water and/or sewage treatment plant processes and the status of other key water and sewerage system assets.Council is committed to providing progression opportunities during the traineeship.
This progression is based on the trainee's completion of required modules and development of practical skills within the required timeframe.This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

and manage tasks effectively in aA current C Class driver's licence and the flexibility to work across indoor and outdoor environmentsTo be eligible for this role, applicants must be:Aged 16 years or older and no longer at school.Able to meet citizen, residency and visa requirements to undertake a traineeship.C Class Driver LicenceRockhampton Regional Council Traineeship & Apprenticeship opportunities are made available with the assistance of government funding.
