As a Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our contracting operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This position is essential to maintaining the productivity and success of our team across various construction and contracting projects.What you'll be doingAssisting with site preparation, including clearing, levelling, and preparing ground for construction activitiesCarrying and transporting materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areasDigging, moving and compacting earth, gravel, and other materials as requiredSupporting skilled tradespeople by providing materials and assistance during construction phasesMaintaining a clean and organised work site, including waste management and site tidyingOperating basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectivelyFollowing all health and safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environmentResponding to supervisor instructions and adapting to changing project requirementsAssisting with demolition and site clearance tasks when requiredWhat we're looking forPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks consistently throughout the dayA strong commitment to health and safety standards and practices on siteAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a teamReliability and punctuality with a professional attitude towards workBasic understanding of construction site protocols and proceduresWillingness to learn and develop new skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleaguesA valid driving licence is a mustWhat we offerAt Cama contracting, we value our team members and offer competitive remuneration for full-time employment.
