TheHatch Student Vacation Programprovides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills.
We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.
As part of Hatch'sPorts & Terminals team, you will support the delivery of maritime infrastructure projects including container yards, wharves, truck gates, and port facilities.
Working alongside experienced engineers,
you will contribute to structural and civil design activities, analyse engineering data, and assist with the preparation of technical reports, drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‐on experience while developing your technical skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
You bring to the role:
You will be working towards a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a strong academic record, ideally in your third year (or later) of study.
Candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a cooperative mindset, and a willingness to learn and develop.
You will have an interest in ports, terminals, maritime infrastructure, structural engineering, or site civil design, and be motivated to contribute to innovative projects that create positive change.
Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, STAAD, Navisworks, or ArcGIS will be highly regarded.
The12-week, full-time program commences on Monday, 23 November ****.
Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 18 December **** and will reopen on Monday, 4 January ****.
