Keith Engineering Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Fitter, we are a growing company servicing the rendering industry with our machine shop producing new and replacement parts for the rendering plant machinery we manufacture on site.
We have a modern workshop comprising a machine shop and a fabrication shop with a dedicated fitting assembly section.Minimum of 3-5 years fitting experience is required for this position.We are ultimately looking for a Fitter able to assemble our recent machinery and also service our machine rework of existing used equipmentJob tasks & responsibilities of the RoleAbility to read, comprehend and apply engineering drawingsHigh level communications and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work as part of a teamAssembly of bearings, V belt assemblies,
motor mounting and general machine assembly/disassemblyStrip down, fault find, measure and report on used equipment through our reconditioning serviceHigh level record keepingKnowledge of manual lathe and mill operation an advantage.Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional trainingTo be considered for this positionEnthusiastic, confident, and friendlyBe focused on accuracy, attention to detail, and results-drivenPunctual and reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learnWe are a supportive team that value commitment and hard work, coupled with a good sense of fun.
