As our company grows, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Estimator to join our team with an immediate start.About the RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with our Pre-Construction and Delivery teams, the Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and compliant price estimates across our current tenders and quotation proposals.
You'll play a key role in helping Halbuild maintain its reputation for quality and precision throughout every stage of the tender process.Your role will require you:Manage all facets of the estimating and pricing process from initial opportunity to submissionPrepare and analyse trade packages, ensuring timely and accurate quotationsComplete quantity BOQ's and take-offs.Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with documentation and client requirements.Contribute to bid strategy, value engineering,



and tender methodology developmentSupport the continuous improvement of estimating systems and processesAbout YouTo thrive in this role, you'll bring a balance of technical skill, attention to detail, and commercial acumen, along with a proactive attitude and collaborative approach.We're looking for someone who has:Minimum 2+ years of estimating experience in the commercial construction and fitout/refurbishment sectorStrong understanding of tendering, cost estimating, and trade breakdownsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency with estimating software and the Microsoft Office suiteAbility to interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation accuratelyA positive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to meet deadlines under pressureFull Australian working rights and a current NSW driver's licenceMust be able to obtain NSW Police Clearance and DCAC clearance.Why Work for UsAt Halbuild, we're not just building projects, we're building careers.
