Casual Bush Regenerator (2 new positions)Lane Cove Council is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Bush Regenerator to help care for our unique bushland and waterways.In this hands‐on role, you'll work alongside our dedicated team to:Carry out bush regeneration activities across Lane Cove's beautiful reserves.Supervise and support volunteers in programs such as Bushcare, HarbourCare, On the Verge, and the Community Nursery.Contribute to biodiversity conservation and habitat restoration projects.If you love working outdoors, have solid ecological knowledge, and enjoy engaging with the community, this is your chance to make a real difference!
About youThe successful candidate will have:Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or related field OR an equivalent qualification and experienceCurrent Class C Drivers LicenceChemical Accreditation Certification AQF3A current 'Paid Worker - Working with Children Check' clearance, obtained from the NSW Commission for Children and Young People; OR a willingness to obtainCurrent First Aid Certificate OR willingness to obtainExperience in Bush Regeneration and Natural Area Restoration & Management;What we offerWe are committed to supporting our people to do their best work.
