Our client is a well-established, medium-sized Australian business based in Melton.

The Role
You'll need to shift effortlessly between greeting visitors and high-accuracy EP data entry - making this the perfect role for someone who thrives on variety.
Pronto Financials & Accounts Payable
Code, batch, and enter supplier invoices directly into Pronto
Three-Way Matching of invoices against Pronto purchase orders (POs) and inventory receipt logs.
Liaise with the purchasing officer and suppliers to resolve price or quantity variances.
Prepare weekly and month-end Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment files for approval, and forward EFT remittance to suppliers.
Monthly reconciliation of key supplier accounts to ensure ledger accuracy.
Work Order and Purchase Order processing plus backup when the purchasing officer is on leave.
Attend to any banking requirements, including bank reconciliations
Process and reconcile debtors/creditors accounts
Process and reconcile invoices and statements as well as import general ledger entries as required
Process accounts receivable receipts as required
Reconcile petty cash transactions each month
Assist the company accountant as required
Perform any other duties as required
End-to-End Payroll Administration
Run end-to-end payroll (weekly) using the Pronto Payroll module.
Collect, verify, and upload timesheets into Pronto,



checking for correct allowance and overtime allocations.
Assist the Financial Accountant with month-end payroll journal entries and leave liability reconciliations.
Front Desk & Office Operations
Greet visitors, act as the primary phone contact, and filter incoming corporate inquiries.
Manage incoming/outgoing mail, couriers, and central inbox distribution.
Keep reception client-ready; monitor and order office supplies.
The Person
Considerable experience in a combined bookkeeping/administration role within a medium-sized business environment.
Experience with using Pronto (specifically Accounts Payable and Payroll modules) will be advantageous.
Solid understanding of Australian payroll standards, Award structures, and superannuation laws.
Excel Skills: Intermediate proficiency
Communication: Exceptional verbal polish for reception duties coupled with strong analytical skills for data reconciliation.
Well-developed planning skills with a high degree of detail
Excellent people skills and ability to see the "big picture"
Detail-conscious, well organised and able to prioritise, plus being naturally results-focused
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality concerning sensitive information, in particular payroll/personal information
Proactive and continuous improvement orientated
