Chatswood Vet Clinic is seeking a Part Time Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team.
This is a part-time position based in Chatswood, NSW ****.
As Part Time Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
This position is essential to the smooth running of our clinic and directly contributes to client satisfaction and retention.Key responsibilitiesGreeting clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional welcomeManaging telephone enquiries, appointment bookings and cancellations with accuracy and courtesyProcessing client payments and handling cash and card transactions securelyMaintaining accurate client and patient records using our clinic management systemScheduling veterinary appointments and managing the appointment diary to optimise clinic efficiencyAssisting with client queries regarding services, treatments and aftercare instructionsMaintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception areaSupporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks as requiredCommunicating effectively between clients and veterinary staff to ensure seamless service deliveryWhat we're looking forPrevious reception or customer service experience,



preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting a bonus not essential - on the job training provided.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressureStrong organisational abilities and attention to detailProficiency with computer systems and RX Works practice management software knowledge a bonus not essential - on job training provided.Genuine passion for animals and animal welfareReliable and punctual with a flexible approach to part-time hours initially 1-6pm Mon to Wed, 4-6pm Thur / Fri and every 2nd Sat.
