You will be the face of our hardware store, assisting customers with product knowledge, providing expert advice on timber and hardware solutions, and ensuring a seamless experience.
This role is essential to our store's success and directly contributes to building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth.Key responsibilitiesProvide knowledgeable and friendly customer service to all store visitors, assisting with product selection and purchase decisionsDeliver expert advice on timber specifications, hardware products, and their appropriate applicationsProcess customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale systemsMaintain store displays, shelving, and product organisation to ensure an inviting shopping environmentReceive, check, and stock incoming inventory in a timely and efficient mannerDemonstrate products to customers and explain features, benefits, and pricingHandle customer enquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and constructive mannerMaintain knowledge of current promotions, stock levels, and pricing informationContribute to a positive and collaborative team environmentComply with all health and safety regulations and store policiesWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a Trade environment, ideally within hardware, timber,
